The hopes and expectations were indeed very high for Malaysia's only team left in the fourth season of The Amazing Race Asia. Ethan and Khairie, Malaysia's only heroes left in the race, have failed to deliver in the previous leg, causing them to be knocked-out and face elimination.
This was mainly caused by their horrible decision in the only Detour of the race. The easier task was to carry a basket of fruit each for a certain distance. Instead, Ethan and Khairie spent around 1 and a half hours trying to find the clue in the harder task. In the end, they gave up and decided to switch Detour, which was what they should have done earlier. They were later overtook by the Filipino boys, Richard and Richard, and finished only a few seconds behind them..

Holiday Starts!
The year end holiday has finally started! As you all know, the holiday will last for 2 long and exciting months, which is November and December. I will be turning 15 years old next year already, which means when school kick starts, I will be in Form 3 and will sit for the massive PMR exam in September.
Well at the moment, I will just sit back and enjoy the holidays with my loved ones, will start to step it up next year and study my ass off - when holiday officially comes to an end :)

Exams are Finished!
Oh yes! The Final Year Exams of 2010 has finally come to an end, which means no more studying and stress for the rest of the year! It has been a somehow, thrilling encounter between me and the exam papers.. English and Science, was as usual, a cake case but Maths and History has made my head spinning rounds and rounds and rounds... :S
Nevertheless, the hardest subject for me is still Geography. I spent approximately an hour and 15 minutes battling with 60 very very tough questions, and I'd say my chances of securing an A is like, freaking low.
I can smell the holidays already, its really time to take 1 month off after a stressful, but however fun, year.. 2010 has been not bad for me, I believe next year will be the year my friends and I face the most terrible nightmare yet, as PMR awaits us..

Sudden Blackout :S
There has just been a sudden blackout in my neighbourhood, it was during the day though.. or else it'll be more spooky in the dark. It lasted approximately about 2 hours.. lucky enough, it was quite a windy day so it wasn't that hot, but still I can't tolerate hours without fans and air-conds. Couldn't really study too, so as I'm still not prepared for my final exams on Tuesday, I guess I'd better be off now or else my mum's going to be nagging again ;)
Good luck to everyone in the final exams!

Bolton 0:1 Liverpool
A really hard fought victory for Liverpool and they needed a last-gasp goal by their Argentinian winger Maxi Rodriguez to secure a 1-0 win. It was a thrilling encounter, with star player Fernando Torres slowly getting back at his best after playing a part in Liverpool's only goal. Its feels nice to see Liverpool slowly getting back on track again, and even better to see them extend their 100% record over Bolton for the last 7 years.
Go REDS! :)

Malaysia Reaches 1st!
Malaysia's Amazing Race Asia representatives, Ethan and Khairie, chalked up a solid performance to become the first team to reach the pit-stop in the 5h leg of the race around the world.
They started off after arriving 3rd in the previous leg in Sri Lanka. The 5th leg was quite a tough one when they had to travel to Manila, Philippines. Their upcoming leg will be at New Zealand, so GOOD LUCK MALAYSIA!

New Owners For Liverpool!
This move has brought a broad smile in the face of the Liverpool fans, especially me, as Liverpool chief Roy Hodgson believes this will be the turning point for the club.
Meanwhile, I would like to congratulate the Malaysian Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists in the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi. Well done as you guys have done a great job for making Malaysia proud.

Goal Reached
My first squash competition has just ended a few moments ago, and I'm quite satisfied with my results, 8th place, despite the fact that I should have done way better.. So yeah, freaking exhausted right now. Cheers! :)

Only an hour away from my 1st squash tourney!
Well, I'll be going for my first squash tournament later, I'm an underdog so the pressure isn't so high for me, so if you ask me whether I'm nervous or not... there's a little bit because hey, its my debut, and I aim to make it a one to remember my pulling off an upset over one of the top 8 seeders. I'll be competing in the U-15 category and there will be 16 players.
For me, a place in the top 8 will satisfying enough. This tournament lasts for 3 days, 24th September (today) to 26th September, which falls on Sunday.. So good luck to me on my first tournament =D

Holidays Starts!
Yay!! The 2 week long September holiday kicks off! I would also love to wish my Muslim friends a Happy Hari Raya / Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and hope you guys get lots of green packets :D
Hopefully I get to follow my uncle's car to Kuala Lumpur on Monday so that I can visit my beloved cuzzies.. My grannies have already been there for a week now and I really miss them, especially their trademark delicious dishes, and there is no doubt about how desperate I am to go to Kuala Lumpur in the next 2 days, because my aunt's definitely not a bad cook too! :)

No More Chinese!! :D
Ok some of you might say I'm a banana skin.. but I don't freaking care because I'm off Chinese, ONCE AND FOR ALL! I've been waiting an awful long time for this day. Dad signed the formal letter and I'm no longer taking this damn subject that's been dragging down my ranking for the past 8 years :D

Kick Start To A New EPL Season!
Yeahh! The English Premier League 2010/11 officially starts tonight after a 3 month break and a thrilling 1-month long World Cup. With the arrivals of Milan Jovanovic, Jonjo Shelvey, Joe Cole and Danny Wilson to bolster the squad of Liverpool, it should be time to end their 20 year title drought, despite facing a strong team on their opening match, Arsenal.
Win or not-win the title, I will always remain a Liverpool fan.. but I just want them to win it very badly!!

Dad Gets A New Car!
My father is getting a new car, Citreon, in a part exchange deal to sell his current car, Toyota Innova. Well I'll accept the fact that Citreon is a good car and the car technology might be higher than Toyota Innova, but when you have been with something for quite some time, there will be a strong bond and that's what I have between me and the Innova. In my opinion, its the best car and I love it very much. Its just too bad my father is going to sell it soon and the time left for me to spend with this car is getting lesser and lesser. Innova, I will always love you and will never forget you for the rest of my life :(

Fasting Period For Muslims Starts!
Its 11th August (Wednesday) today and the 2010 fasting period for the Muslims officially starts, apparently lasting for 1 month. This means that my fellow Muslim friends won't be able to have their meals till the sun sets in the evening and before the sun rises early in the morning.
I have to admit that I'm lucky enough to be a Buddhist and not face the fasting periods, I'm a person who loves food, and I can't stand more than 5 hours without food. If I had to do so, I'd probably pass out.. So Good Luck to my Muslim friends and hope you guys don't die of hunger and thirst. :)

I'm Still A Torres Fan!
"My loyalty and commitment and the club and the fans has been the same since the first day I signed." by Fernando Torres.
These big words of devotion by Fernando Torres towards Liverpool has reassured that I'm still his biggest fan. Yes, he hasn't been performing like how he usually does in the World Cup, but I'm quite sure he will be able to catch his top form once again when the Premier League 10/11 begins.

Exam is Over!
The August test has came to an end! Most of the papers were pieces of cake, except Geography and History, which I find them freaking hard.. Well I haven't got a B for my favourite subject, English, before and I'm pretty confident the great run will last longer, hopefully forever :D
